General information on Admission Procedure

Residential treatment (In-patient) facility

Those who need prolonged treatments/therapies are provided with residential facility in our ashram campus. We have two types of rooms in two different blocks: ABHAYAM & BHADRAM. In Abhayam, the rooms are more spacious, with private sit-out/balcony, plenty of ventilation, big bathroom with huge mirrors and dry toilet area with pneumatic flushing cisterns. These rooms have two larger beds, music piped through speakers, wardrobe, tea table with draws, and LED night-lamp.
Bhadram has standard provision of reasonably large living rooms with attached bathrooms and toilets. Each room has two beds, a wall unit for storage, tea table with drawer and LED night-lamp. Common veranda is a stage for free-time get together and sharing.
No air-conditioners or television sets are available in the campus.

Library

library
Books are effective tools of healing. They enlighten the mind and the thought and this in turn recharges the body to facilitate healing from a deeper plane than the conventional processes. At Sunethri, we have a library basically meant for those who stay in the campus for treatment. The collection includes Indian philosophy, Ayurveda, other general health-related books, fiction, essays, Spirituality, works on Gita, Gandhian literature and a few titles on history of Kerala. A few good journals and magazines are also there in the racks.

Music

music
We use music for augmenting the healing process. But we have no regular music therapy sittings. At times we organize evening concerts of bhajans in which all the residents can participate.

Kitchen

kitchen We are very much convinced and concerned about the role of food in the genesis as well as cure of diseases. So we maintain a kitchen in campus to serve high-quality healthy food to those who opt for residential treatment facility. The food is hygienically prepared, less spicy and oily, with a traditional touch of taste and aroma. The dishes are purely vegetarian. No artificial colours or taste-makers are used.
